Are you:

Someone who never quite sees their body in the wellness world?
Someone who could really do with proper touch but can’t always stretch to it?
Someone who believes that every body deserves to be seen, held and celebrated?

Then babes, I’d love to hear from you.

I’m looking for a steady flow of models in Manchester (M20) between now and next June to help me show what bodywork in my practice really looks like. I’ll be filming and photographing sessions for my website, socials and workshops. You’ll get a full-on, hands-on session in return. It’s an exchange that lets me promote my work whilst giving a bit back to yous and the culture.

Who I want to work with:

All sorts of people and bodies. Queer, trans, cis, fat, slim, buff, black, brown and other racialised, disabled, older, younger, hairy, smooth, masc, femme lovelies.

If you’ve ever thought “this stuff never looks like me,” come thru.

I’m especially interested in folk who give a lot and don’t always get time to receive. Artists, performers, carers, educators, activists, people in charity or community work.

Or anyone that can’t access bodywork because of cost constraints.

The exchange:

You bring your body, your time and any issues or needs you may have.
I bring my practice.

You’ll need to be at least:
• Based in or able to travel to Manchester
• Be comfortable being filmed or photographed while receiving touch
• Sign a short consent form so I can use the material for somaholistix promo or teaching
• Be open to some direction during the session, always with communication and consent

Up for it?

If this sounds good to you, send me an email. Tell me a bit about yourself, your body and what draws you to take part. If it feels comfortable it would be good to see a few photos or an instagram profile to see who I am working with.

email at: somaholistix@gmail.com (please no instagram DMs).

Thankyou,

Darren :)

Please note I will try and respond to everyone who applies to take part! If I don’t choose your application this time around - trust it has absolutely nothing to do with your body and everything to do with wanting to represent a wide range of bodies and my available capacity.
